CAMSTL Family Day: The Let Loose Caboose

Saturday promises to be a fun day at the Contemporary. Come play!

OCTOBER 30, 1-4pm

ALL ABOARD!!!

What if all the art here talked, squeaked, and groaned?

Join the “Let Loose Caboose” to play with sound & movement, and explore what noises might live in the dark museum at night.

“Trains” leave about every 20 minutes — make sure to finish your “ticket” and then listen for the whistle to climb aboard!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Get a “ticket” and fill it out by wandering the museum to imagine and sketch what the sculptures and pictures might “say” if they could talk.

2. When you hear the whistle, step right up and mind the conductor for some warm-ups!

3. With your sound bytes in mind, we’ll play games to orchestrate a cacophonous, human-powered “sound effects engine” together!

4. Screeeeeech………The train will slow to a stop and you’ll hop off. Take a bow!
